Smolensk customs officers opened a criminal case on the fact of evasion from payment of customs payments in especially large size

“Smolensk customs on the fact of evasion of customs duties levied on organizations committed on an especially large scale, a criminal case under paragraph “d” of part 2 of article 194 of the criminal code of Russian Federation”, – said acting Deputy head of customs Alexander Seals.

Sanctions of this article provide punishment in the form of a fine from three hundred thousand to five hundred thousand rubles or the salary or other income of a convict for a period from two to three years, or compulsory works for a term of up to five years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years or without such, or by deprivation of liberty for a term up to five years with deprivation of the right to occupy certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term up to three years or without it.
