Smolensk customs officers have detained the truck with apples without supporting documents

Apples are moved without accompanying documents confirming their phytosanitary safety, – said the chief of the customs control after release of goods of the Smolensk customs Dmitry Vasyukov.

The car with the cargo under the escort of officers of customs collection was placed in storage and transferred to the staff of the Rosselkhoznadzor for the Bryansk and Smolensk regions for further validation.

It should be noted that a day later the driver issued the act of quarantine phytosanitary control issued by the Office of Rosselkhoznadzor for
St. Petersburg, Leningrad and Pskov regions, and with signs of forgery. Now we have the authentication and legality of the permit, the results of which will take a final decision in respect of the goods and the carrier.
