In 2019 the Saratov customs office revealed 66 460 units of counterfeit products (ECP), of which 64 750 units detention of vehicles on the roads of the Saratov and Penza regions and 1710 units in the domestic markets of the city of Saratov in the framework of joint activities with representatives of the interior Ministry. The amount of damage caused to the rights holders, brands, amounted to about 142 million rubles.
Most often moving consumer goods (clothing, footwear, leather products) that bear the trademarks of such famous brands as Adidas, Nike, Puma, Reebok, Armani, Calvin Klein and perfumes (Kenzo, Dior, Chanel, Givenchy), toys (Masha and the bear, Disney, Mickey mouse, Cars) and others.
Comes counterfeit products, mainly from South-East Asia (China, Kyrgyzstan, Iran, Turkey).
For illegal use of a trademark in 2019 Saratov customs brought 53 cases of administrative offenses under part 1 of article 14.10 KoAP of the Russian Federation. For copyright infringement filed 1 case under part 1 of article 7.12 of the administrative code.
For 53 cases of administrative offences judgement of the Arbitration court of Saratov oblast and the Kirov regional court about appointment of administrative punishment to the value of 1 101 000 with destruction of counterfeit goods.
In addition, from the total number of identified counterfeit products
40 275 units recognized by the judiciary ownerless, and subsequently by order of the Department of Russian property Fund of Saratov oblast destroyed. Among this category of counterfeit goods included perfumes (25 185 ETUC) and products of light industry (15 090 ETUC).
