Ruslan Davydov visited Kazan on the eve of the next meeting of the Joint Board of Customs Services of the EAEU countries
On the eve of the 44th meeting of the Joint Board of Customs Services of the EAEU member countries, which will be held on December 8 in Kazan, Ruslan Davydov arrived in the capital of the Republic of Tatarstan on a working visit.
The focus of the delegation’s attention – interaction between customs and leading enterprises of the region’s defense industry. Tatarstan customs ensures prompt actual control, and declaration is carried out in the Electronic Declaration Centers in 2-3 minutes.
Thus, the Acting Head of the Federal Customs Service of Russia visited the Kazan Helicopter Plant of «Russian Helicopters» Holding (Rostec), which is a major exporter of Russian aircraft. The members of the delegation visited the assembly plant, paint shop and saw the final assembly of Mi-8, Mi-38 and Ansat series helicopters. The guests were also demonstrated the work of the Aviation Personnel Training Center and were shown modern simulators of Mi-8 and Mi-38 helicopters.
«Customs officers should always understand for whom they work. How production is carried out, how people work at the enterprise. The Federal Customs Service of Russia is a user of Kazan Helicopter Plant products. We have Mi-8 helicopters in service in the regions, and we use them quite often. It is interesting to see how they are currently produced, – – said Ruslan Davydov.
The next point of the route – exhibition center Ak Bars Retro Cars and visiting the exposition of cars of the legendary team «KamAZ-master» and Aurus, the main production of which is carried out on the territory of the Republic. In the coming year «KAMAZ-master» will take part in «Silk Road» rally, and customs officers will assist in registration of vehicles and equipment.
In conclusion, the delegation visited Bashir Rameyev IT Park Technopark, one of the largest digital technology centers in Tatarstan. In 2024, it will become one of the venues of the international multi-sport tournament «Games of the Future». Customs officers will ensure transactions and control of goods for the organization of the Games.
