Officers of the Novoorlovsky customs post of St. Petersburg Customs held a working meeting with participants of foreign economic activity – residents of the Special Economic Zone “St. Petersburg”, where they told about changes in the terms and method of reporting on the activities of residents of special economic zones, established by the order of the Federal Customs Service of Russia from December 6, 2023 № 1155.

The event was attended by specialists from VERTEX JSC, Pharmasintez-Nord JSC, Ruskhleb Research LLC, Vital Development Corporation JSC, Pharm-Holding JSC, Laser Systems JSC, Inmed LLC, Biocad JSC, IC Burevestnik JSC and other organizations with the status of residents of the special economic zone “St. Petersburg”.

The deputy head of the Novoorlovsk customs post Sergey Bolotov informed about the procedure of accounting of goods placed under the customs procedure of the free customs zone, and goods made of them, as well as operations performed with such goods with the use of an automated accounting system

The head of the customs clearance and customs control department №1 of the Novoorlovsk customs post Margarita Lebedeva told about the changes in legislation in terms of reporting that came into force

The Federal Customs Service of Russia Order No. 1155 of December 6, 2023 established a new reporting deadline – not later than July 15 and January 25 of each calendar year for the preceding six months of activity or for a shorter period, if such activity was started by the SEZ resident in the reporting period, – said Margarita Lebedeva. – In case a person loses the status of a SEZ resident, the reporting to the authorized customs body shall be submitted within 30 calendar days from the date of making by the federal executive power body authorized by the Government of the Russian Federation to the register of SEZ residents of the record on deprivation of the status of a SEZ resident.

Sergey Bolotov drew the attention of the participants of the meeting to the changes in the method of submitting reports on the activities of SEZ residents – in 2024 the reports should be submitted in the form of an electronic document signed with an enhanced qualified electronic signature through the use of the automated subsystem “Personal Cabinet” placed on the Internet.
