More than 100 thousand goods declarations were registered in the Smolensk customs in 2019 without the participation of the inspector

Customs post of Smolensk customs for 2019 decorated 205,1 thousand customs declarations (DT). Their number compared with the same period last year increased by 1.8%, including the number of export declarations from 12.2% to 13.3%.

– There is an increase in automatically registered, or automatically released declarations, – said the head of customs Vladislav Easy.

So, in 2019, compared with 2018 growth in the number of declarations registered with the inspector, was 29% for export and 20% import. All in all, 2019 is automatically registered 23,5 thousand declarations for the exported goods and more than 79,2 thousand declarations on imported goods that were, respectively, 86% and 44.7% of the total.

In automatic mode in 2019 issued 8440 declarations for goods exported, which was 19% more than in 2018.

On imported goods without any involvement of the inspector feature in 2019 18846 declarations, 2.8 times higher than the figure for 2018. It significantly accelerates the registration process and reduces the cost of doing business.

It should be noted that for further optimization of the process Declaration in the framework of the reform of the customs authorities, a unified network of electronic offices and centers of electronic Declaration (CED). At the moment, across Russia created 12 CED and four e-customs. Until the end of 2020 provides for the creation of four e-customs with e-Declaration, including a Central electronic customs procedures the Central customs Department . Thus, all declaring to be concentrated in 16 centres.

This will allow more efficient use of resources of customs bodies, increase their controllability, speed up the process of implementing new information technologies that will improve the quality of customs administration and further reduce the time of customs clearance.

Equally important, there is a separation of customs clearance and effective control. Everything is done in the digital, remote format without any personal contact the issuing inspector and the declarant. Significantly reduced corruption risks.
