More than 1,600 counterfeit children’s machines “AK-47” was detained by the Vladivostok customs

1620 counterfeit children’s machines, marked with the designation “AK-47”, revealed employees of the Vladivostok customs at the customs post Sea port of Vladivostok. The goods were imported from China without the permission of the copyright holder.

The Russian importer has submitted at the Vladivostok customs the Declaration for the import from China of a container with children’s toys: weapons, cars and target shooting.

As has told the senior state customs inspector of Department of customs inspection customs office seaport Vladivostok Dmitry Perevedentsev, during the customs clearance of Vladivostok customs officers found the counterfeit plastic popcontainer machines (1620 pieces), which are inscribed with the designation “AK-47”, similar to the point of confusion with a registered trademark of the company of JSC “Concern Kalashnikov”.

The vendor has no documents for the use of the trademark. Vladivostok customs appealed to the representative of the owner and found out that any contracts and agreements to use this trademark with the importer was not. Means that goods imported into Russia illegally.

For illegal use of trademark of the Vladivostok customs has opened a case on an administrative offence.

Reference: Liability for illegal use of trademark provided in article 14.10 of part 1 of the administrative code and is punishable by an administrative fine on legal entities from fifty thousand to two hundred thousand roubles with confiscation of the goods.
