In October 2020 the number of customs offices of the Far East will be reorganized

From 1 October 2020 in the structure of customs bodies of the far Eastern region will be changes: Kamchatka and the Magadan customs will be reorganized through the accession to the Sakhalin customs, Birobidzhan and Blagoveshchensk will join the Khabarovsk customs. Location, area of activity and the staffing of customs posts will not change.

The upcoming reform will allow more efficient use of resources of customs authorities, will improve the quality of customs administration.

Despite the fact that from 1 October 2020 the regions of Sakhalin and Khabarovsk customs offices will increase considerably, it will not affect the efficiency of customs control and the customs clearance time. Today, a large part of goods declarations shall be in the centers of electronic Declaration (CED). In the far Eastern region, the Declaration of the array to the end of 2020 will be concentrated in two Zadah subordinate Vladivostok customs and far Eastern electronic customs. CED Vladivostok customs will continue to issue the goods moved by sea transport, CED far Eastern electronic customs will issue the goods transported by other modes of transport.

From 1 October 2020 the region of the Sakhalin customs: Kamchatka Krai, Magadan oblast, Sakhalin oblast, Chukotka Autonomous Okrug, the water area of the waters of the territorial sea of the Russian Federation, washing the shores of these administrative units.
