Almost 36 tons of illegally imported goods were detected by Ussuriysk customs officers with the help of MIDC for the 1st quarter of 2024

3442 inspections of vehicles using inspection and inspection complexes (IDC) were conducted by Ussuriysk customs officers for the 1st quarter of 2024. Based on the results of the inspections, Ussuriysk customs initiated 50 cases of administrative offenses.
Total for this period Ussuriysk customs officers with the help of IDK revealed almost 35.9 tons of various goods imported into the Russian Federation in violation of the law
The most frequent offenses committed by participants in foreign economic activity include reporting to the customs authority false information about the number of cargo places, weight and volume of goods (part 3 of article 16.1 of the CAO RF), non-declaration or false declaration of goods (article 16.2 of the CAO RF).

The largest consignments of illegally imported goods detected by Ussuriysk customs with the help of IDK in the last three months: 8 tons of fruits and vegetables (at MACP Pogranichny); more than 8 tons of shoe parts (at DAPP Poltavka); more than 4 tons of garden furniture (at DAPP Poltavka)

Mobile complexes allow for minimal time without opening and unloading a cargo vehicle to get an image, from which the customs officer determines the nature of the cargo, its quantity, as well as extraneous attachments.
