For a change of rates of customs fees for customs operations

SZTU informs about the entry into force on August 1, 2020 resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation from 26.03.2020 № 342 “About the rates and basis for calculation of customs fees for customs operations connected with release of goods”.

Please note that in accordance with the specified resolution:

– increase the rates of customs fees for customs operations in respect of goods, details of which are stated in the customs Declaration, and in respect of goods imported into the Russian Federation by physical persons for personal use;

– does not provide for the reduction of rates of customs fees for customs operations when submitting the Declaration of goods in electronic form at 25 percent (currently 7, paragraph⁴ of the resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation dated 28.12.2004 № 863 “On rates of customs fees for customs operations” provides that upon the filing of goods Declaration in electronic form applied rates of customs fees for customs operations in the amount of 75 percent of the rates of customs duties for customs operations stipulated by this decree);

– in cases where the customs value of goods imported to the Russian Federation is not defined and not declared, and if exported from the Russian Federation of the goods is not established rates of export customs duties or set specific rates of export customs duties the rates of customs fees for customs operations are based on the number of products in DT.
