Customs inspection revealed the unmarked tobacco, the market value of which amounted to about 3 million rubles.

Tatarstan customs conducted customs inspection in respect of the individual entrepreneur. He rented a garage, where he organized the storage of Smoking tobacco for hookah, not marked with excise stamps. Tobacco of foreign manufacture with different flavor fillings were in bundles, plastic and cans. Their total number was 13 204 units, and the total weight of 1006 lbs. Country of origin – the Republic of Turkey.

Unmarked tobacco withdrawn from circulation. According to the conclusion of the customs expert, the total market value of the goods on the Russian market was at the time of seizure 2 782,62 830 rubles.

Tatarstan customs in connection with the signs of a crime under article 171.1 of the criminal code “Production, acquisition, storage, transportation or sale of commodities and products without marking and (or) the application information required by the legislation of the Russian Federation”, sent the materials on-site customs inspection in the Office of economic security and counteraction of corruption of the MIA for the Republic of Tatarstan. According to the Ministry of interior of the Republic of Tatarstan, on the basis of the material in relation to the individual entrepreneur – a Russian citizen of Syrian origin – a criminal case under paragraph “b” of section 6 of article 171.1 of the criminal code.
