Cigarette instead of the feed additives identified in the Russian-Latvian border

Employees of the Pskov customs and Federal security service of Russia in the Pskov region have stopped attempt of illegal movement in the vehicle of international transportation 155520 packs of cigarettes.

At the customs post MAPP (multilateral automobile checkpoint) Blinker the Pskov customs at the Russian-Latvian border in the cargo vehicle (truck tractor with trailer), leaving the customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union identified not stated in the shipping documents of the goods.

In the framework of the operational-search actions employees UFSB of Russia on the Pskov region received information about the attempt to smuggle a large consignment of tobacco products. A specified operational information implemented jointly with the employees of the Pskov customs.

In the result of customs inspection, along with the stated in the shipping documents feed additives discovered more than 4 tons of tobacco products.

The market value of 155520 packets of cigarettes is 10 million rubles.

Cigarettes seized. The investigative Department of the FSB of Russia in the Pskov region opened a criminal case under article 200.2 of the Criminal code of the Russian Federation (smuggling of tobacco). Investigative actions are carried out.
