Smolensk customs officers have revealed infringements of the currency legislation of 9.8 billion rubles

In the first quarter of 2020 the exchange control Department of the Smolensk customs conducted 50 inspections of observance by participants of foreign economic activity requirements of the currency legislation. The result revealed 99 of violations of currency legislation in the amount of 9.8 billion rubles, the responsibility for which is provided for in the administrative code, including illegal withdrawal of capital from the Russian Federation worth more than 668 million rubles.

Customs opened 77 cases of AP according to article 15.25 of the administrative code of Russia, imposed administrative fines amounting to 531 million rubles. Two criminal cases under article 193 of the criminal code.

So, during the first quarter inspection of one of the Moscow firms revealed a criminal scheme of withdrawal of capital from Russia in large scale. The firm concluded in 2017, six foreign trade contracts with non-residents of Hong Kong. The subjects of these contracts was the supply of Russian equipment. Under the contracts was made remittances in foreign currency on account of non-residents in the total amount of more 419,7 million Russian rubles.

– During check it is established that the contract was completed 31 December 2018, however, the import of goods into the Russian Federation is not carried out, as well as the refund – said the head of currency control customs Natalia Samsonov.

Check the materials on the revealed signs of a crime under article 193 of the criminal code of the Russian Federation, expressed in non-execution of obligations on repatriation of funds from abroad in especially large size, was sent to the law enforcement unit of the customs office for a preliminary examination at the end of which the materials are sent to another investigative in ATC CAO GU MVD of Russia in Moscow.
