Baltic customs transferred to the Federal budget nearly 223 billion
Results of foreign trade in the region of the Baltic customs in Jan-Jun 2020.
For six months in 2020 (January-June) the Baltic customs transferred to the Federal budget of customs duties and taxes in the amount of 222,73 billion rubles, which is almost at the level of the same period last year (a decrease of 0.79%).
Foreign trade turnover in the region of the Baltic customs made up of 17.14 billion U.S. dollars. Foreign trade activities were carried out by 8 075 traders.
For the first half of 2020, the Baltic customs office has released a 162 609 customs declarations (including import – 144 505, the export – 18 104).
A mass load feature of cargo in the first six months of 2020 compared with the same period last year increased by 72% to 13.2 million tonnes. The weight, the volume of export cargo increased by 240%, and import has decreased by 2.3%.
The export of goods was carried out in 152 countries of the world. The main exporting countries were: China (25%), Brazil (12%), Turkey (11%), Lithuania (5%), Belgium (4,5%), Norway (4%), Finland (3%), Netherlands (3%), India (3%),United States (2%), Egypt (3%).
In the commodity structure of export in weight the amount prevailed: fertilizers (33%), ores, slag and ash (18%), wood and articles of wood (14%), ferrous metals (14 %), salt, sulphur, earths and stone (11%).
Goods imported from 146 countries of the world. Main importing countries: China (20%), Ecuador (15%), Germany (5%), India (4%), Argentina (4%), the Republic of Korea (4%), Brazil (3%), United States (3%), the Netherlands (2,5%), France (2%).
In the commodity structure of import in weight volume leading the way: fruit (26%), polymeric materials (6%), organic chemicals (5%), ferrous metals (5%), equipment (4%), mixed chemical products (3%), vehicles (3%), products of processing of vegetables, fruits (3%), fish and crustaceans (3%), Coffee, tea (2%).
All customs posts of the Baltic customs, including the Baltic CED, work in normal mode from 9-00 to 21-00 hours daily (including weekends), with observance of all necessary anti-epidemic measures.
