About prolongation of term of temporary import of vehicles for personal use

In connection with the difficult situation related to the adoption of measures aimed at preventing and stopping the spread of infection coronaviruses 2019 – nCov and the impossibility of enforcement of foreign natural persons responsible for timely exportation from the customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union temporarily imported by physical persons of vehicles, issued the Decision of the Board Eurasian economic Commission of 29 April 2020, No. 47, under which, in respect of temporarily imported by physical persons of vehicles, maximum duration of temporary importation which will expire in the period from 1 March to 30 September 2020 for the period of temporary importation is extended until 30 September 2020.

Accordingly, the extended period prescribed by the second paragraph of subparagraph 5 of paragraph 2 of article 268 of the Customs code of the Eurasian economic Union, “preferential” removal of vehicles, the period of temporary importation violated, without payment of customs payments.

Continuation of these terms is carried out without the permission of the customs authority without the customs Declaration. Continuation of these terms does not exempt these individuals from fulfilling the requirements established by paragraphs 2 to 13 of article 264 of the Customs code of the Eurasian economic Union, as well as the obligation for re-exported vehicles for personal use after the deadline date.
