Karelian customs from Feb accepts electronic passenger customs Declaration
February 1, 2020, in the experiment of Federal customs service, during the movement of goods for personal use in accompanied, unaccompanied baggage or delivered by carrier individuals may submit a passenger customs Declaration in electronic form.
Information service “Submission of the passenger customs Declaration” provides the opportunity, through “Personal Cabinet of the participant of foreign trade activities” to provide information interaction of the declarant – natural person and the customs bodies to commit customs operations in respect of goods for personal use.
To use the service crossing the border have to register in “Personal Cabinet of the participant of foreign trade activities” on the link: https://edata.customs.ru/FtsPersonalCabinetWeb2017/
In the services list, “the Personal account of the participant of foreign trade activities” is the service “Submission of the passenger customs Declaration”. To work in this service with electronic signature, and in its absence.
For the implementation of electronic declaring of goods for personal use in the information service “Submission of the passenger customs Declaration” for declarants are individuals, you must perform the following steps:
- Fill, save and send electronic passenger customs Declaration form into the automated system of customs authorities;
- After check-in at the address the declarant is notified about the assignment of unique identification numbers (UIN);
- The UIN is available at the customs office at the checkpoint through the state border of the Russian Federation. The official of customs body carries out registration and release of the passenger customs Declaration for free circulation.
