A resident of Novosibirsk ordered threat tablets from abroad

About four thousand capsules with a potent substance, the woman received the parcel from the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Siberian operational customs initiated a criminal case.

In December 2019 47-year-old resident of Novosibirsk region with the help of the Internet have ordered drugs for weight correction (“Magic beans”, “Enzyme for removing fat”, “Kaimy”, “Bilayt B-lite” and others), prohibited for transfer through the State border of the Russian Federation. In early January of 2020 during carrying out quickly-search actions it was detained by employees of the Siberian operative customs when receiving international mail from the Republic of Kazakhstan.

International mail were dozens of vials and blister packs of drugs for weight correction containing hazardous substances: according to the results of the study, the drugs contain a potent substance sibutramine, the total weight of which amounted to over one kilogram. The substance was withdrawn from illegal turnover.

The Siberian operational customs initiated against the citizen criminal case on signs of the crime provided part 1 of article 226.1 of the criminal code, the smuggling of drugs. This article prescribes punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term up to seven years.

The drug is addictive, the effects of acceptance – insomnia, anxiety, migraines, respiratory diseases, Central nervous system, serious violations of the cardiovascular system, gastrointestinal tract, skin reaction.
