Customs officers seized in the shops of Tyumen 6 tons of tobacco for hookahs on 30 million roubles
Six tons of tobacco mixes for a hookah without excise tax estimated cost over 30 million rubles were seized from illegal circulation employees of the Tyumen customs, with the assistance of head Department on fight against smuggling of the FCS of Russia and Regional management of FSB of Russia for Tyumen region.
Tobacco products of foreign production illegally implemented in Tyumen two specialized networks. In seven retail stores and three warehouses investigators found more than 111 thousand units besanceney tobacco product brands “Adaliya”, “booth”, “Serbetli”, “Nirvana”, “Alfacar”. Hookah blends were stored outside the trading Windows in the back rooms and sold to buyers upon request. According to representatives of the stores, the products were purchased in Moscow.
The actions of a number of persons seen signs of crime under part 6 of article 171.1 of the criminal code. The article provides for maximum punishment of deprivation of liberty for a term up to six years with a fine of up to 1 million rubles.
The materials of this case will be handed over to the police for further decision.
