The results of foreign trade of the Federal district in I quarter of 2020

Foreign trade turnover of the Central Federal district in January – March 2020 was 78.2 billion US dollars.

The volume of exports amounted to 44.7 billion U.S. dollars, import – 33.5 billion dollars.

– In the distribution of exports according to the commodity nomenclature of the lead mineral products is 32.6 billion US dollars (including fuel and energy goods – 32.4 billion USD). Exports of other products amounted to 12.1 billion USD, – said the Deputy head of Administration Alexander Beglov. – On the first place among imported goods – engineering products (15.7 billion US dollars). On the second – products of the chemical industry (6.4 billion U.S. dollars), the third – foodstuffs and raw materials (4.2 billion US dollars).

The main trade partners of the Central Federal district in January – March 2020 were: China – 18,6% of the total turnover of the Central Federal district (January – March 2019 16.9 per cent), Germany – 8,9% (10.7 per cent), Belarus was 5.4% (6,1%), Italy – 5.0 per cent (5.0 per cent), USA and 4.9% (4,2%), Netherlands is 4.8% (6,5%), Turkey – 4,1% (4,6%), the United Kingdom accounted for 3.8% (2,3%), Poland – 3.1 percent (2,6%), France – 3,0% (2,5%).
