Voronezh customs officers discussed with representatives of the business community a new phase of implementation of digital technologies customs

The main question of the working meeting – the benefits of filing declarations of goods in the Centers of electronic Declaration

In the framework of the seminar-workshop organized for the participants of foreign economic activity of the Voronezh customs, gathered in the dialogue discussed a number of topical issues relating to the interaction between customs and business organisations.

In the first place attention was focused on the upcoming reform of the customs authorities in terms of redistribution functions. From 1 April this year, the Voronezh customs is becoming the actual custom control and the main volume of Declaration will be transferred to the Center of the electronic Declaration. Customs officers carried out explanatory work in this direction.

“Since February 20 this year, has a Central electronic customs. The main purpose of which – the introduction of “artificial intelligence”, ensuring uniformity of customs operations, reducing the time of production of goods, improvement of quality of customs administration as a whole. This contributes to the exclusion of corruption risks and allows business organizations to build a comfortable logistics and reduce costs. Voronezh customs included in the experiment at the division of customs operations. This means that from 1 April, the participants of foreign economic activity of the region of responsibility of the Voronezh customs will submit declarations on goods to the Moscow customs post (CED) of the Moscow regional customs”, – told the chief of Department of customs procedures and customs control of the Voronezh customs Paul Pechenkin.

In the context of active digitization the meeting also considered in detail and the procedure for filling the transit Declaration in order to receive automatic registration. The absence of errors allows the system to process the document in less than 1 minute.
