Samara Customs chief Alexander Arkhipov and Ulyanovsk Region Governor Alexei Russkikh discussed issues of cooperation between the customs and the region in the framework of business support to increase foreign trade turnover.
“Support of domestic enterprises, priority clearance of defense industry products, development of the special economic zone are among the key tasks facing the customs authorities of the region,” said Alexander Arkhipov.

The customs chief and the head of the region discussed the results of the past year, as well as the prospects for the development of foreign economic activity of the Ulyanovsk region in the current year. Particular attention was paid to the large-scale federal project – port special economic zone “Ulyanovsk”, assistance in the implementation of investment projects of the region, as well as the development of supplies of goods by direct container trains from China
