Facts of abuse of official powers revealed in Kemerovo customs

Officers of the anti-corruption department of the Kemerovo Customs, as a result of joint work with the Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Tomsk region, have revealed facts of illegal activities of officials of the Asinovsky customs post.
It was established that the head of one of the departments of customs clearance and customs control of the Asinovsky customs post of the Kemerovo customs and two officials of the department in order to improve the efficiency of performance deliberately indicated in the acts of customs inspections knowingly false information about the excess volume of declared timber products.
As a result of these actions, the legal authorities of the Kemerovo customs office and the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation (FSB) of the Tomsk region have revealed the facts of illegal activity of the officials of the Asinovsky customs post
As a result of these actions, legal entities were illegally brought to administrative responsibility.
Novosibirsk investigative department on transport of the Eastern interregional investigative department on transport of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation against officials of the Asinovsky customs post of the Kemerovo customs initiated 3 criminal cases under paragraphs “g”, “f” part 3 of article 286 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on the facts of abuse of authority. The investigation continues, the officials have been chosen a measure of restraint in the form of house arrest
