Over half a thousand administrative cases have been initiated by the customs in Bashkiria

Since the beginning of 2024, Bashkortostan Customs has initiated more than 500 cases of administrative offenses –  20 percent more than last year. At the same time, the structure of offenses retained its long-term constancy.

“The analysis of cases on administrative offenses shows that the largest number of violations falls on four articles of the Administrative Offenses Code of Russia – article 19.7.13 (failure to submit statistical forms of goods accounting), article 16.2 (non-declaration of goods), article 16.3 (non-compliance with prohibitions and restrictions), article 15.25 (non-compliance with currency legislation),” said Rinat Galiev, deputy head of the customs office.

“The number of violations is the highest in Russia

In 2023, 2008 AP cases were initiated, which is 7.9% higher than in 2022. Over the past five years, the number of cases on administrative offenses in the field of customs legislation amounted to 7,740.

BACKGROUND 

In 2024 it will be 35 years since the formation of customs authorities in Bashkiria.  Bashkortostan Customs was established on July 5, 1989. Today it has five customs checkpoints: Ufa, Beloretsk, Sterlitamak with a branch in Salavat, Tuimazinsk and one of the largest air checkpoints in the Volga Federal District, the Ufa Airport customs checkpoint
