More than 24,000 packs of unlabeled cigarettes seized in Penza

On February 26, employees of Saratov Customs in cooperation  with officials of the Penza Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia conducted a customs inspection of premises on the territory of the Central Market.

The joint inspection revealed 24392 packs of tobacco products (cigarettes) of various names: Korona, Dove, Fast, Camel, L&M and others. The above-mentioned products were sold by an individual in violation of the Rules of labeling established by the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation from 20.02.2010 № 76 “On excise stamps for labeling of tobacco products imported into the Russian Federation” and the Resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation from 28.02.2019 № 224 “On approval of the rules of labeling of tobacco products with means of identification and features of implementation of the state information system for monitoring the turnover of goods subject to mandatory labeling with means of identification in respect of tobacco products”

The above-mentioned goods have been seized and the issue of initiating criminal proceedings is being considered
