The Samara customs office initiated 4 criminal cases

4 criminal cases were instituted on 10 August the Samara customs officers: two cases under part 2 of article 173.1 of the criminal code and 2 for part 2 and part 3 of article 193.1 OF THE CRIMINAL CODE.

As a result quickly-search actions by employees of the Samara customs revealed the scheme of illegal transfer abroad of currency using straw men and creating false documents of firms-a something ephemeral.

So, the citizen of the Russian Federation proposed to create a legal entity through nominees for a cash reward. The firm was created in Samara with the purpose of carrying out currency transactions for transfer funds in foreign currency on fake documents abroad.

For the period from 2017 to 2018 with the help of established organizations abroad was derived of the order of 132 million 257 thousand rubles.

In the end, the Samara customs initiated 2 criminal cases on the group of persons for the unlawful incorporation of a legal entity through nominees, a group of persons upon a preliminary collusion. The punishment for the offense provided part 2 of article 173.1 of the criminal code with fines up to 500 thousand rubles or imprisonment for up to 5 years.

In addition, in respect of unidentified persons, 2 criminal case under paragraph “a” of part 2, and part 3 of article 193.1 of the criminal code – for the currency operations on the transfer of funds in foreign currency or the currency of the Russian Federation to the accounts of non-residents using falsified documents in large and extra large sizes. The sanction of article provides punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term of five to ten years and fines of up to 1 million rubles.

Currently, employees of the Samara customs held urgent investigative actions. The collected materials criminal cases will be transferred to another investigative for the production of further investigation.
