The results of foreign trade of the northwestern Federal district in January-March 2020

Foreign trade turnover of the northwestern Federal district in January – March 2020 declined by 7.4% compared to the same period last year and amounted to 19 billion the 352.5 million US dollars.

The exports amounted to 11 billion 64.8 million U.S. dollars, import – 8 billion 287,6 million dollars. Exports fell by 12.2%, imports decreased by 0.2%.

In the distribution of exports by regions of the Russian Federation within the northwestern Federal district, leaders of St. Petersburg (51,2%), Leningrad region (14,4%), Vologda region (10.0 per cent). First place in imports is St. Petersburg (63,0%), second place – the Kaliningrad region (19.1 per cent), third – Leningrad oblast (10.5 percent).
