The Dagestani customs officers discovered and destroyed more than 800 kg of sanction apples
In the course of control measures to combat trafficking of prohibited import (sanctions) production Department control over the importation and trafficking of goods of the Dagestan customs service jointly with the officials of the Makhachkala transport Prosecutor’s office and the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Republic of Dagestan in one of the shops of Makhachkala discovered the fact that the implementation of the product “fresh apples” in the amount of 64 per box with a total weight of 832 pounds with signs of “sanctions” products.
The country of origin of apples, according to marked on the boxes marking is Belarus. In the course of the control activities established the absence of any shipping documents to the specified commodity, in this connection, it was decided on the appointment of customs examination to determine the country of origin of apples.
According to the conclusion of the customs expert examination of the region revealed of the goods is the territory of Poland and Germany.
In accordance with the decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of 7 August 2014 No. 778 “About measures for implementation of decrees of the President of the Russian Federation of 6 August 2014 No. 560, dated 24 Jun 2015, number 320, dated June 29, 2016 No. 305, dated June 30, 2017 No. 293, dated July 12, 2018 No. 420, dated June 24, 2019 No. 293” this product is included in the list of prohibited for import and sale in the territory of the Russian Federation.
In accordance with the requirements of the current legislation sanctions the goods seized and properly destroyed by the staff of the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Republic of Dagestan with participation of the officials from the Makhachkala transport Prosecutor’s office and Dagestan customs.
On this fact concerning the owner of the goods a criminal case on an administrative offense under article 10.3 of the administrative code (Violation of rules of production, procurement, transportation, storage, processing, use and implementation of regulated products), and under article 16.3 of the administrative code of Russia (violation of the prohibitions and (or) restrictions on import of goods into the customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union or the Russian Federation and (or) export of goods from the customs territory of the Eurasian economic Union or the Russian Federation).
