Astrakhan customs officers stopped the import of 12.6 thousand liters of dangerous soda from Kazakhstan into Russia

According to the shipping documents, the cargo was traveling from Atyrau to the subjects of the North Caucasus Federal District. Since February 2024, Rospotrebnadzor has banned the importation of products from a Kazakh producer into Russia to prevent mass poisoning of Russians

“For safety reasons, three trucks with 12,600 liters of drinks in 1-liter and 2-liter plastic bottles were returned to the Republic of Kazakhstan,” explained Alexander Gurin, deputy head of the Astrakhan customs office – head of the customs control service after the release of goods.
