Astrakhan customs officers found undeclared fuel and motor oil on a ship from Kazakhstan

In the course of customs control officials of the customs post of the Sea Port Olya of the Astrakhan Customs revealed a discrepancy between the actual amount of fuel declared by the carrier. It was found that the regular fuel tanks contained 2.6 tons more fuel than declared. As explained by the captain of the vessel, the chief mechanic made incorrect calculations when calculating the weight of fuel

Also during customs control on board the ship was found more than 380 kg of undeclared motor oil in two barrels. According to the captain, the oil was purchased in the port of Amirabad (Iran), but the carrier did not have the documents.
