A batch of laundry soap without documents was found by a mobile group of the Astrakhan customs on a highway in the Volgograd region in a truck arriving from Kazakhstan.

According to the bills of lading, the truck contained more than 20 tons of solid laundry soap, packed in cardboard boxes. More than 98,3 thousand pieces of soap in individual packing of foreign production were intended for retail sale in one of the subjects of the North Caucasian Federal District
Documents confirming customs clearance of the transported goods on the territory of the EAEU were not provided by the driver. It was established that the goods were imported into Russia without payment of customs duties and taxes
The soap was seized. Astrakhan Customs initiated a case of administrative offense under Article 16.21 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (transportation of goods illegally transported across the customs border). Further verification measures are being carried out
