In the 12 months of 2023, the customs authorities of the Southern Customs Directorate transferred 612.65 billion rubles to the federal budget, which is 52.6% more than last year (2022 – 401.46 billion rubles). Revenues from imports of goods amounted to 407.58 billion rubles, and from exports – 199.60 billion rubles.
This is a worthy result of the work of the South Russian customs officers, – said the head of the Southern Territorial Customs Service Sergey Pashko. – Last year the customs authorities of the South of Russia had to carry out their activities in difficult conditions, but despite the difficult geopolitical situation, the processes of transformation and transformation of customs authorities confidently continue, improving methods of work, increasing professionalism of personnel. Following the vector defined in the Strategy-2030, the Federal Customs Service is confidently moving towards the creation of intelligent customs aimed at fast, transparent and effective interaction with law-abiding business. And the staff of the Southern Customs Directorate, organically replenished by customs officials located in the new subjects of the Russian Federation, makes a worthy contribution to the fulfillment of these difficult tasks
According to the results of work in 2023 in various areas of activity (filling the federal budget, customs control, law enforcement, organization of work to combat corruption, judicial practice, as well as the level of professionalism of officials, the state of service and work discipline, active sports and cultural and educational work) determined the winners of the traditional annual competition for the best team of customs authorities of the region. Novorossiysk Customs became the winner among the customs offices of actual control. Rostov and Krasnodar Customs are also in the top three
In the nomination “The best team of the customs post of actual control” the first place was taken by Astrakhan customs post of Astrakhan customs. Novorossiysk Customs Post (CED) of Novorossiysk Customs was recognized as the best electronic declaration center. The best post located at an automobile checkpoint is the Adler IACP of Krasnodar Customs. Among customs checkpoints not located at highway checkpoints, the leader was the team of the Sochi Airport customs post of Krasnodar Customs
