Agricultural exports – green corridor

As part of a series of events for business and the business community organized by experts of the Federal Customs Revenue Service of the NTU, Altai Customs held a round table with agricultural enterprises engaged in export operations

The event was chaired by the deputy head of the department – head of the service of federal customs revenues STU Dmitry Kolykhanov. In addition to Altai agrarians, representatives of exporters of agricultural products from other regions of the SFD joined the round table in video mode. The total number of participants amounted to more than 40 people

The STU experts told about the application of export customs duty rates, the peculiarities of classification of agricultural goods in accordance with the HS of the EAEU, the formation and control of the customs value of exported agricultural products. In addition, customs officers reminded about the need to submit a statistical form to record the movement of goods in mutual trade with the EAEU countries. Detailed answers were given to the questions received from the participants of foreign economic activity

“Customs authorities within the framework of their competence assist the growth of export potential of the agrarian-industrial complex of Siberia,” said Dmitry Kolykhanov. – This industry traditionally demonstrates positive dynamics in foreign trade, products of the region’s agrarians are in demand abroad. Methodological assistance and explanation of practical aspects of law enforcement practice lead to reduction of exporters’ costs, and thus increase their competitiveness in foreign markets
