Saratov customs informs

Employees of the Saratov customs and STSI GU MVD of Russia for Saratov region has revealed the fact of smuggling from the Republic of Armenia on the territory of the Russian Federation of the car.

The detained vehicle was under customs control and in violation of the provisions of the Treaty of accession of the Republic of Armenia to the Treaty on the Eurasian economic Union of 29 may 2014, was illegally used by the citizen of the Russian Federation.

In connection with the revealed fact of the Saratov customs reminds that the actual vehicle is under customs control means that their importation and use on the territory of the Russian Federation is allowed only to citizens, permanently residing in the Republic of Armenia. Alienation, the transfer of the use and disposal of other persons is allowed only under condition of customs declaring and payment of customs duties and taxes.

Currently on this fact Saratov customs opened case about an administrative offence responsibility for which is provided by part 1 of article 16.2 of the administrative code (failure to declare in the prescribed form of goods subject to customs Declaration shall entail the imposition of an administrative fine in the amount of one-half to two times the value of the goods which are the subject of an administrative offense).
