Samara customs officers detained a large consignment of shoes without markings, perfumes and hookah tobacco

A large shipment of hookah tobacco without excise stamps, shoes with no markings and perfume products with signs of counterfeit mobile detained the group of the Samara customs in July 2020, on the border with Kazakhstan.

The truck, EN route from Almaty to Moscow, customs officials stopped near the village of Bolshaya Chernigovka (Samara oblast). According to the documents in the car were transported lamps, shoes, glasses and perfume of the popular brand.

However during the inspection the customs officers found in the cargo compartments of about 10 tons of tobacco for hookah Adalya without excise stamps and more than 4.1 thousand pairs of shoes without markings. In addition, the car carried more than 19 thousand packages of perfumes brands D&G, Chanel, Armani, Nina Ricci, Molecules 02 with signs of counterfeiting. Queries about the authenticity of perfume the customs officers sent to representatives of right holders.

On the fact of illegal import of footwear products without labeling the Administration of Rospotrebnadzor in the Samara region opened a case on an administrative offence. Customs control continues.
