Samara customs foiled the smuggling of petroleum products
Mobile group of the Samara customs checkpoint near Ilek detained a cargo vehicle, carrying out the export from the territory of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Kazakhstan petroleum products – lubricating additive for drilling muds “Himolube”, weighing over 1 500 kg.
The results of the carried out customs examination of the product identified as heavy distillates, liquid fuels, are prohibited to be exported to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the results of activities undertaken in respect of the consignor filed the case on administrative offence under part 1 of article 16.2 and article 16.3 of the administrative code of Russia, the goods seized, conducted an administrative investigation.
Information note:
In accordance with the agreement between the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan on trade-economic cooperation in supply of oil and petroleum products as of December 9, 2010, the above petroleum products are prohibited to be exported to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
