The management of Murmansk Customs took part in a business breakfast organized by Alfa-Bank JSC for participants of foreign economic activity.

Representatives of the business community received first-hand information about banking opportunities, products and solutions to support foreign economic activity, e-commerce, the peculiarities of the Arctic zone and novelties of customs legislation, and exchanged opinions and experience of cooperation.

In the framework of the business breakfast, the speakers discussed in detail the concept of a free customs zone and regimes for residents of the Arctic zone, the resident status itself and the procedure for obtaining it, requirements for candidates, benefits taking into account the specifics of the activity, opportunities for obtaining land plots for the realization of investment projects, administrative preferences

Specialists of the banking structure shared the practice and experience of their work with clients in modern realities, information about the opportunities and tools of electronic trade in goods from creating a store on existing marketplaces to their own electronic platform

Acting First Deputy Head of Murmansk Customs Albert Duzhak also spoke at the business breakfast. He told representatives of medium and small businesses in the region about legislative acts and the procedure for moving goods in modern conditions, current special economic measures, import/export duties on certain categories of goods, as well as measures to minimize risks in customs operations

– Currently, special economic measures for foreign trade are in effect in the customs sphere, in particular, there are bans on the export of certain categories of goods from the territory of Russia, as well as a permissive procedure for the export of goods to the territories of the EAEU member states, while some goods are subject to exceptions, such as Russian goods of origin, supplies for marine vessels, – Albert Mikhailovich said.

In addition, the representative of the customs service of the Russian Federation has also introduced a ban on the export of certain categories of goods from the territory of Russia, as well as a permissive procedure for the export of goods to the territories of the EAEU member states

In addition, the representative of the customs department elaborated on the current legislation on import/export duties, a number of simplifications and preferences for participants in foreign economic activity, as well as the procedure for electronic declaration and opportunities for interaction with customs authorities in electronic format using modern information technologies, customs services and software products
