In the Smolensk region detained the citizen of potent substances
Smolensk customs office opened a criminal case under part 1 of article 226.1 of the criminal code (smuggling of drugs) upon movement across the state border of the Russian Federation of potent substances.
This criminal case was the result of joint actions of employees of Department on struggle against smuggling of customs and employees UFSB of Russia across the Smolensk region, in which the inhabitant of the Smolensk region, 1969 year of birth, seized seven blisters with tablets covered with a shell of icing, three jars of pills, and five vials of liquid.
As shown by the study, all of these drugs contain in their composition various potent substances, is included in the list of substances prohibited for importation and circulation on the territory of the Russian Federation. The total mass of potent substances in seized drugs amounted to 81, 9 grams.
– Currently investigating customs carry out urgent investigative actions, the completion of which the materials will be transferred in law enforcement bodies, – said acting Deputy head of the Smolensk customs Alexander Krasnenkov.
The desire to build muscle, but these drugs are intended for this purpose, can be costly to Smolyaninov. The sanction of this article prescribes the maximum punishment in the form of deprivation of liberty for a term up to 7 years with a fine in the amount of 1 million rubles.
Is already the fourth criminal case brought by customs in 2020 under this article. All of them were the result of joint actions with the regional Department of the FSB, said Alexander Krasnenkov.
