The export of medical masks, gloves and other medical products temporarily restricted

From March 2 to June 1, 2020 government of the Russian Federation banned the export of certain products: medical masks, Shoe covers, gauze, medical gloves, some types of disinfectants. The ban does not apply to individuals who are unable to take out from Russia the goods for personal purposes.

According to the chief of Department of customs statistics of far East customs office Oleg Nesterenko, the customs authorities of the Far East for 2 months, 2020 were issued for the export of 69 tons of goods statistical value of 2.3 million US dollars in 2019 – 5.3 tons statistical value 20 thousand USD.

Full list of products banned for export, listed in the Annex to the decision of the Government. The exception is the export of goods specified in the application for provision of international humanitarian assistance to foreign States on the basis of decisions of the Government.

The temporary ban also applies to goods placed under the customs procedure prior to the entry into force of the decision and their actual export from Russia is carried out after the entry into force of the decree.
