In the Samara region customs officers detained counterfeit 1.8 thousand smartphones to 100 million rubles.

Mobile group of the Samara customs have detained a consignment of 1.8 thousand counterfeit mobile phones, marked trademarks of Apple, Samsung, Huawei.

Vehicle equipment was flying from Bishkek (Kyrgyzstan) to Moscow and was stopped in the center of the village of Great Chernigovka (Samara oblast). In the cargo compartment of the car customs officers found 1245 phone brands Huawei, 335 – Samsung brand and 234 – Apple. To establish the authenticity of the goods requests were sent to the right holders of trademarks.

According to the representatives of rights holders, delayed product is a counterfeit, appearance and workmanship is not the original. In addition, the recipient party does not have permission to use the data trademarks. According to the rights holders the amount of damages could reach about 100 million rubles.

Currently on the fact of illegal use of trademarks test events are held.
