FCS of Russia informs: from October 19, 2020, prohibits the liquidation of the legal person at carrying out of cameral customs inspection

In connection with the entry into force on 19 October 2020 of the Federal law of July 20, 2020 No. 229-FZ “On amendments to article 20 of the Federal law “On state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs” provides for the prohibition on legal persons when conducting a cameral customs inspection.

This innovation, prepared with the participation of the FCS of Russia, aimed at improving the administration of budget revenues and to prevent the liquidation in the course of a cameral customs inspection of the offending companies, who thereby avoid paying customs duties to be paid according to the results of this test.

Currently, this prohibition applies only to customs inspection.
