Bashkortostan customs: the period of temporary import of personal vehicles extended

Bashkortostan customs informs about prolongation of term of temporary import of vehicles for personal use until September 30, 2020. The measure is due to the current situation related to the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19.

– According to the Decision of the Council of the Eurasian economic Commission No. 47, dated April 29, 2020, “amending certain terms of the importation of goods for personal use” car owners who because of the pandemic are unable to March 1 to complete the procedure of temporary import of vehicles will be able to meet its obligations until September 30, − explained the chief of Department of customs procedures and customs control Alexander Lopukhov. – However, you should pay attention to the fact that the extension does not exempt from the requirements, conditions and restrictions established by the Customs code of the Eurasian economic Union, as well as from duties on re-exported vehicles for personal use after the deadline date.
