A citizen of Moldova tried to smuggle across the border hunting cartridges

Cartridge boxes were transported repeatedly convicted foreign citizen

At the multilateral automobile checkpoint Troebortnoye Bryansk customs officers at examination of the minibus as it was leaving Russia, found in a road bag of the citizen of Moldova 47 hunting ammunition.

The cartridges were confiscated and handed over for examination, which took them to the category of ammunition, – said acting Deputy head of customs Denis Dadykin. – They are all suitable for firing: 37 of cartridges for rifled small-bore hunting weapon and the other smoothbore weapons.

In respect of a foreign citizen, a criminal case under part 1 of article 226.1 of the criminal code (smuggling of ammunition). Sanctions of this article provide till 7 years of imprisonment with the penalty to one million roubles.
