About 25 kg of perfume tried to be carried through the green corridor without customs declaration

A commercial consignment of undeclared goods was detected at Kazan International Airport during customs control of the luggage of air passengers arriving in Kazan from Istanbul.
a 30-year-old native of Tatarstan followed the green corridor, thus declaring that she had no goods subject to customs declaration. Meanwhile, her luggage contained a large amount of perfume produced in Turkey, with sets of samples for each of the 11 fragrances.
The total weight of 80 packages of perfume and 30 boxes of samplers amounted to 24.44 kg. It turned out that the woman is an individual entrepreneur. She admitted to the Tatarstan customs officers that some of the perfume products were intended for gifts, and some for sale.
A case of administrative offense was initiated against the citizen for failure to declare the goods in accordance with the established form under part 1 of article 16.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation. The goods were seized and sent for examination to determine their market value.
