In Perm at the customs post seized undeclared goods

Customs post of the Airport of Perm has summed up the first results for 2020. In January 2020 the customs border of the Perm Airport have crossed 16 437 physical entities 80 international flights. Officials of the customs post of the Airport of Perm for the period initiated 19 cases of administrative offences on the facts of not declaring goods: 12 – alcoholic beverages, 1 – cash 5 – cultural values, 1 weapon (knife).

In the course of customs control, women traveling to Thailand, Vietnam and Turkey, was discovered the icon; the men departing to Dubai – ancient coin of 1897. One icon was discovered when the flight arrives from Turkey. All the floating items were seized and sent to the art history examination, which found their cultural and historical value.

In respect of icons and coins according to the results of the expert’s report filed the case on administrative offences under part 1 of article 16.2 of the administrative code (failure to declare or false Declaration of goods).

Perm customs reminds that in accordance with section 2.20 of the Single list of goods subject to prohibitions or restrictions on importation or exportation of States-members of the Eurasian economic Union in trade with third countries, approved by Decision of Board of the Euroasian economic Commission from April 21, 2015 No. 30 coins, bonds, banknotes and securities, created 100 years ago or more are subject to customs control and must declare when they are moved across the customs border of the Eurasian economic Union.

Not to be declared modern Souvenirs, cultural goods serial and mass production, non-cultural property in accordance with the above list.

At following through customs border of the Eurasian economic Union by air transport, customs Declaration shall be subject to imported goods, customs value of which exceeds 10 000 EUR, equivalent or total weight exceeding 50 kg imported and exported cash (e.g., Bank notes, Treasury notes, coins, etc.) or traveller’s cheques for a total amount exceeding the equivalent
10 000 USD. The floating cash amount exceeding the equivalent of 100 thousand U.S. dollars is not only declared but also documented its origin.

In addition, are subject to customs clearance of cultural values; the floating state awards of the Russian Federation; animals and plants under threat of disappearance, their parts and derived products; weapons and ammunition; imported alcohol beverages in the quantity exceeding 3 liters.
