Up to half of the number of citizens in Kaluga customs increased by 26%

In the first half of 2020 in Kaluga the office received 63 complaints of citizens, which is 26 % more than in 2019. Four of them are from foreign nationals received 4 treatment, they dealt with the issues of customs infrastructure and shipment of goods in international mail, as well as extension of period of temporary importation of the vehicle by an individual.

Applicants actively used electronic channels for filing complaints. During that period, the office received 25 applications for the e-mail address, and 25 complaints on postal services and on purpose.

For a personal appointment to the Executive staff of customs turned 13 of citizens.

Head of Department of documentary maintenance Marina Akimova has told, on what issues most often addressed the citizens, is questions about the order of payment of customs duties in respect of goods of medical purpose, the procedure for movement by individuals of goods and vehicles for personal use and customs operations connected with their release, tracing of parcels and documents on wages.

“All the complaints of citizens addressed to the management of customs, when you register put under control in the documentation. The statutory period of consideration of appeals are met, the office checks on the facts of untimely consideration of references of citizens has not been,” – said Akimov.

Applications containing information on customs offences, crimes, and also the individuals involved in them will be immediately brought to management customs.

Help. The number of oral complaints decreased, and written on the contrary increased. This jump is due to the introduction in accordance with the presidential decree of 30 March to 8 may 2020, complex of restrictive measures on the non-proliferation of novel coronavirus infection (COVID – 19).
