Japanese dental materials illegally tried to be smuggled into Uzbekistan

Officers of the Samara Customs Service for the Orenburg region in cooperation with the Border Department of the Federal Security Service of Russia in the Orenburg region discovered illegally transported foreign-made dental materials from the conductor of the Samara-Tashkent train

The goods were hidden in the interceiling space of the carriage near the passenger compartment. During the inspection customs officers found a total of 304 units of goods. The packages were labeled with the country of origin Japan

Dental materials used for fixing crowns, dental restoration, as well as kits for clinical teeth whitening and filling are temporarily prohibited for export from Russia. The violator did not have a permit from the Federal Service for Supervision of Health Care to export the goods

Thereby, non-compliance with the prohibitions and restrictions, in accordance with Decrees of the Government of the Russian Federation No. 311 and No. 312, was established. A case of administrative offense under Article 16.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses was initiated against the foreign citizen. An administrative investigation is underway
