Tyumen customs officers revealed counterfeit blanks for shoes
In the region of Tyumen customs at the checkpoint through the state border of Siberia revealed a large consignment of counterfeit products. Thanks to rapid cooperation with the staff of the Border Department of the FSB of Russia on Kurgan and Tyumen areas, the customs officers detained a vehicle from Kazakhstan (Alma-ATA) in Russia (the city of Pyshma, Sverdlovsk region).
The vehicle was moving workpiece for shoes turned out to be counterfeit.
During the inspection by the customs office revealed more than 20 thousand counterfeit pieces, marked the trademark “NIKE”. The copyright of estimated economic damage amounting to more than 95 million rubles.
“Tyumen customs conducts ongoing work on the prevention of imports of counterfeit products. So, in 2019, Tyumen customs office revealed more than 288 thousand units of counterfeit products with an economic damage of about 480 million rubles,” – said the head of the Department for control over the importation and trafficking of goods the customs affair Sheper.
Currently preparing materials to the police for further action in accordance with applicable law. Fate of counterfeit goods will depend on the decision of the court.
