In Q1 2024, customs officials of the Rostov-on-Don River Port customs post of Rostov-on-Don Rostov Customs cleared about 1,000 vessels. Cargo turnover in the port amounted to more than 2.2 million tons

The volume of exports passing through the customs post remained practically unchanged. The nomenclature of exported goods remained unchanged: agricultural products and processed products, products of oil refining, coal, metallurgical and chemical industries

“Officials of the post regularly reveal violations of customs legislation. Since the beginning of 2024, the customs post has initiated 32 cases of administrative offenses. The most common violation this year is non-declaration of tobacco products (cigarettes) by crew members. Also, customs officers regularly detect undeclared fuel and spare parts for motor ships. The value of the seized goods amounted to about 4 million rubles,” said Oleg Bessarab, head of the customs post of the River Port of Rostov-on-Don
