Krasnodar customs officers found a stash of illegal cigarettes in a heavy truck arriving from Abkhazia
The empty MAN TGA truck, based on operational information received from the FSS of Russia in Krasnodar region, was sent by customs officers for inspection with the use of mobile inspection and search complex. Scanning and allowed to reveal contraband in the technological cavity of the cargo compartment of the truck between the plywood sides and the awning
After dismantling the makeshift construction, customs officers found 13,500 packs of cigarettes without Russian excise stamps and special markings. The value of the batch is estimated at 2 million rubles
The tobacco products and the car used for illegal transportation were seized. A criminal case has been opened under Article 200.2 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (smuggling of tobacco products).
