Customs officers initiated a criminal case against the director of the company for smuggling of strategically important resources under part 1 of article 226.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation. He faces imprisonment for up to 5 years and a fine of up to 1 million rubles, as well as compensation for damages.
